COMMUNITY AND PLATFORM STRATEGY FOR VITALTALK (WITH LOYAL)
VitalTalk teaches empathy and communication skills to clinicians working with patients with serious illness and are leaders in the struggle to humanize the culture of patient care. VITALTalk came to Loyal to develop a community and platform strategy to help thoughtfully scale their programs through a regional hub model. After conducting a research phase to understand VITALtalk’s member’s needs, we developed a community strategy outlining a number of low-lift initiatives focused on developing the core member experience and creating a foundation for deeper learning. While VITALTalk had initially wanted to build a robust, custom community platform , we gently encouraged them to pursue easy to execute alternatives to maximize learnings. VITALtalk valued Loyal's work in this engagement immensely and has since begun to develop the initiatives outlines in our strategies with success.
PROGRAM AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY ADVISEMENT FOR CAMPOS DE GUTIERREZ
Campos de Gutierrez is an international artists residency program and ceramics school in Medellín, Colombia. Joining Campos as an Advisor for Program and Organizational Strategy, I worked closely with the director to review and refine Campos' programs, processes and strategies to prepare for a period of growth and development as the organization approached it's fifth year in operation. During my time onsite, I prepared a strategic 3-year plan lead the process of updating the mission and vision and values of the organization and refining the language around the programs and objectives.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT FOR WELEET
During this engagement I developed a community programs strategy and began execution for Weleet, a community coworking platform dedicated to making co-working more widely accessible. This engagement included a facilitated strategy workshop to identify business and community goals, evaluate Weleet's previous programs, identify new programming opportunities, define program goals and metrics for success, and outline the execution process. Following the workshop we delivered a community programs strategy and program materials to begin execution.
USER ONBOARDING, ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION CAMPAIGN FOR EARLY STAGE STARTUPS
These early-stage startups came seeking scalable ways to onboard, engage and retain their users to best meet their immediate business goals. I worked with these clients to audit the existing user experience, outline the user lifecycle and touch points, and draft drip email campaigns to drive conversions, increase retention, and help their users become better, more successful versions of themselves.
COMMUNITY STRATEGY AND EXECUTION FOR SWITCHBOARD FOUNDERS
As Switchboard's sole community manager, I worked directly with our 100+ clients to support their community-building efforts in verticals like higher education, startups, government, and non-profits, on the Switchboard classifieds platform. I provided each client with strategic guidance, custom-tailored to their community, including recommendations and assistance with outreach, onboarding, engagement, and events.
I also oversaw Switchboard's customer support and feedback processes, onboarding and retention campaigns, and instructional design.
